I hope this message finds you well. My name is Tricia Stone-Shumaker, and I’m reaching out to share a very special project that’s close to my heart. I’m excited to introduce our upcoming children’s book, As Much As The Stars, which addresses the challenges of military deployment and the emotional journey of saying goodbye.

This book is especially meaningful to me because it was co-authored by my sons, Forrest and Skylar, who are both currently active-duty service members. Forrest is a Captain in the U.S. Army, and Skylar is an SrA in the U.S. Air Force. They helped write this book while deployed, drawing from their own experiences to create a story that resonates deeply with military families.

As Much As The Stars is a flip book that offers two perspectives—one from the child and one from the parent—providing a unique and comforting narrative for families navigating this difficult experience. Having self-funded five children’s books in the past, We’ve poured our hearts into this project, and we are currently running our first crowdfunding campaign to bring it to life.

I’m reaching out to you because I believe in the power of community and word-of-mouth.
