Forrest is an adventurous individual serving in the United States Army. A proud graduate of the United States Military Academy - West Point, Forrest has committed himself to excellence and service. Throughout his military career, he has embraced diverse experiences and challenges. In his free time, Forrest enjoys scenic trails, roadside attractions, and spending time with family. With a passion for exploration and a commitment to his duties, Forrest brings a unique and dynamic perspective to all his endeavors.

Skylar is an adventurous soul always on the lookout for new horizons. Serving in the United States Air Force, he's had the chance to explore many parts of the world, soaking in diverse cultures and thrilling experiences. Off duty, you'll find Skylar zipping through the skies with his drones, running long distances, cruising on late-night drives, jamming out to music he creates, or immersing himself in the great outdoors. A huge animal lover, he shares his life with a variety of beloved pets. With his zest for life and endless curiosity, Skylar brings a unique and spirited perspective to everything he dives into.

Proud Army West Point and Air Force Mom
Tricia Stone-Shumaker, an award-winning children's author known for the Poppy's Adventures Series, grew up as a military brat in a family with a strong military history and tradition, frequently moving due to her father's career as a U.S. Navy officer. This transient upbringing inspired her love for adventure and storytelling. She guided her sons, Forrest and Skye, through the U.S. Sea Cadet and League Cadet Corps, and now runs a speech therapy practice primarily serving military families. Tricia enjoys fun adventures with her husband, Scott, especially spending time on their boat at the lake, drawing inspiration for her writing from these cherished family moments.
